Brown Bag Feb. 5th
|
The monthly brown bag
lunch will be Thursday,
February 5th from 12-1pm @ Third Street Center in
the four square common room.
As always, the brown
bag lunch is an informal get together to discuss
progress on the Center and learn more about the tenants
that will be in the building upon completion.

TAC
Meeting February 18th
|
The Third Street Center Tenant Advisory Committee will
meet on Wednesday, February 18 @ Third Street Center
from 9-11am. The Tenant Advisory Committee (TAC) has
the primary charge of representing tenant interests,
shaping the management of the building, and
recommending a tenant representative to serve on the
Third Street Center Board of Directors.
Current TAC Members include:
- Amanda Emerson - Mtn. Valley Developmental
- Diane Johnson & Russ Criswell - Senior Matters
- John Masters - Grassroots TV
- Ro Mead - CCAH
- Sandy Pickard - SEI
- Evan Zislis - Youthzone
If you are interested in serving on the tenant
advisory committee, please contact Sara Plesset at Land
+ Shelter, 963-0201 to express your interest in
serving. Any tenant that has made their $500 deposit
is welcome to serve on the TAC.

Loden joins Third Street Team as Capital Campaign Director

Kristen Loden as
joined the Third Street Center Project Development
Team as the Capital Campaign Director. Kristen has
broad experience in capital campaigns for nonprofit
arts organizations in New York, Washington, DC, and
Houston, TX.
Welcome to the project Kristen!

Center Board adds Tenant Representative
|
The Third Street
Board of Directors endorsed the recommendation of the
Tenant Advisory Committee and appointed Ro Mead as
the Tenant Representative on the Third Street Center
Board.
The Tenant
Representative position was created by the Board to
explicitly ensure that tenant voices are part of the
decision-making relating to the renovation and
operation of the center.
Ro
is well known in
the Carbondale community as the Executive Director of
the
Carbondale Council for the Arts and Humanities.
The Board of Directors also endorsed the TAC
recommendation to appoint Sandy
Pickard, Business
Manager of
Solar Energy International, as the alternate tenant
representative.
